Antioxidative effect of the melatonin for rats’ central nervous system protection from the toluene intoxication

Abstract

Influence of toluene on the content and composition of polypeptide fragments of intermediate filaments’ glial proteins was studied. Pharmacological doses of the melatonin prevent oxidative stress development and astrogliosis in the nervous system.
